About Turban Diva
Turban Diva® Designs give you endless, easy styling options that add flair to any outfit. Each piece can be styled to suit your mood, from business chic or Bohemian to elegant evening wear. Our beautiful fabrics are soft, elegant and hand washable.
Turban Diva Designs are made in the USA, and created with love, to help you feel as beautiful as we know you are.
If you can tie a simple knot, you can tie a turban and scarf head wrap.
You will look elegant during any stage of your hair loss and regrowth. Even after breast cancer surgery, when it is difficult to lift your arms, they are quick and easy to wear. If you have a portacath beneath your collarbone, you'll be happy to know that the "tails" of the band are long enough to cover it, so you can wear your scoop neck tops and stay cool!
With the two piece set, you can place the scarf in any position around the hat, or wear the hat or scarf wrap alone.
The one piece Long Turban head wraps are dream come true if you have ever had a problem keeping a head wrap in place. With a perfect fit, they will not slip.
Mix & match with our coordinating headbands and accessories. The head wraps look great without hair, and with your own hair, a wig or hairpiece.

After practicing as a Doctor of Chiropractic for 15 years, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Losing my hair was the most upsetting part of my cancer treatment, but the challenge of disguising it changed my life in ways I never imagined.
During chemo, I learned to wrap head scarves to look like a fabulous accessory, not just a quick way to hide my hair loss. The resulting compliments boosted my self-esteem during a time when I was afraid of losing my identity.
In the process, I created an easy-to-wear design to share that energizing experience with other women. Titillating Turbans® are timeless accessories with endless possibilities. Each piece can be styled to suit your mood, from business chic or Bohemian casual to sophisticated evening wear.
My grandmother was a gifted seamstress, and taught me to sew doll clothes when I was six, pumping the foot pedal on her old Singer. Through high school and college, I took more sewing classes, fashion programs at Rhode Island School of Design, and designed and made my own clothes.
Years after receiving a degree in Fashion Merchandising, I made a complete career change to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West. Losing my hair brought me back full circle to create something that heals on another level.
I'm celebrating my seventh year of thriving beyond cancer, sharing Titillating Turbans with women worldwide. I look forward to the day when the only reason women wear them is for fashion. In the meantime, it's my mission to make the difficult ordeal of chemo, alopecia and hair loss less stressful.
Jo has been sewing since junior high school, and later studied tailoring at American River College. She created her own unique outfits when she started working, as well as the wardrobes for her daughters when they were young.
A woman of many talents, she bought her first serger over 20 years ago with money she saved from decorating cakes!
This lady never stops – in addition to the time she spends at Turban Diva Designs, she volunteers with a non-profit organization, the Cut-Ups of Northern California. They create all of their items from donated fabric and yarn, and donate the finished items to local charities and hospitals.
Her previous job at a fabric and quilting shop relied on her to make many of the store samples - quilts, bags, aprons and wall hangings, as well as teaching sewing and craft classes for their clients.
She still finds time for her favorite hobbies of machine embroidery, crocheting, gardening, and cooking.
We love her creative solutions to any sewing challenge, and she enjoys making the many different types of head wear, using her skills and big heart to make them perfect for our clients.
We don’t know where Jolene gets the energy for a full schedule in the college Fashion Design program, managing our social media and sewing for our Turban Divas several days a week but she does them all with a smile and boundless creativity.
She does an amazing job of photographing each new fabric as it comes in and building up the excitement and anticipation in social media.
During the cooler months, the velvet turbans are her favorite project because she finds them so festive and pretty.
Jolene has a genuine enthusiasm in both our development and promotion of the product. She is an integral part of the process and is excited to watch it develop as either a welcome accessory for who are in need or those who will love the final result as a special wardrobe classic.
Our wish for you is for joy, vibrant health and to enjoy Turban Diva Designs throughout your recovery time, and for many healthy years to come.
